Who we are.
Gyre9 is a product development company focused on the research, design, and engineering of complete market ready solutions. Our skilled team of Industrial Designers, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineers are equipped to manage every stage of the process. Integrating with an internal team or working independently, we provide support from inception through sourcing and production.
We have structured our product development process so that thought provoking solutions flow freely from concept to breadboard to the market. Our goal is to continuously provide our clients with patentable, marketable, and more profitable designs. We strive for innovation that can define new product segments.
We love what we do and so will you.

Technology
Maintaining an awareness of advances in science and technology takes dedication and discipline. The ability to translate it into new product opportunities and intellectual property for business growth requires fearless imagination.

Industrial Design
A combination of both art and science, industrial design is the development of a product’s visual and tactile characteristics to improve usability, ergonomics, and marketability. Thoughtful design can separate a product from its competition.

Electro-Mechanical Engineering
There must be a delicate balance of form and function in the design of successful physical products. Methodical approaches to electro-mechanical design and an inherent appreciation for manufacturing are at our core.

Manufacturing
Whether the product is built in our Connecticut manufacturing facility, or we connect our clients to global manufacturing resources, we guide the process. Our commitment is to provide seamless communication between design and production. We work with our clients to manage material, labor, and component costs to increase profitability.
Stay Inspired!
At Gyre9 we love to explore new territories and share our collective knowledge.
Our New Studio
We are excited to be moving to our new space five miles from the original barn.
With that we say goodbye to the place we have worked in and loved for over a decade. The timber frame we built was just getting too small for the team. It is such a beautiful and inspiring space to work in and it will be missed.
You can read more about the barn here: Barn Studio
Our new location is upstairs from our manufacturing facility so it is very convenient.
Can’t tell you much about this space yet since we are just starting to build it out as we settle in. Hopefully we can bring along some of the warmth and comfort we left while creating a new and unique experience for the team.
Time will tell, but we can’t wait to see how it evolves.
